3.6 Quick Testing

Sometimes it is useful to perform a quick automated test of a single Web page. This can be helpful especially during the Resolve Issues testing phase or for really quick accessibility tests. Use [Quick Test] menu item to do it. Fill in the URL, mark desired test sets and press the submit button. The only special field there is Use page cache. If you uncheck it, fresh copy of the requested Web page is used instead of using WAchecker cache.

Quick testing runs all the specified tests without updating reported issues. If you want to run just a single test and update all its issues, request rerunning the test in its editing form. This can be useful when you know some particular kind of error was fixed in the tested Web pages during the testing.
